I agree on revolutionary leader who should be selfless as well like Kamarajar. But regarding getup and run fast, from my understanding, we ARE running faster and the infrastructure is not matching the speed. We should slow down, fix the issues from bottom up (Poi Pullaingla Padikka Vaingada... - Kamal from Devar Magan), which is what Dr. Kalam is doing by concentrating on school children and the poem posted by Malathi also gives the hint from his intention.

Exactly - I saw more girls than boys. Lot of girls made their way up into the managerial chain. Everywhere I went, there were only girls.. girls and girls..
Another example how women can scale up to reach new heights and drive the nation to prosperity.

100% agreed! But we got to be faster in fixing our issues!! I guess Dr. Kalam's work is the first step in that direction. Will we get just one leader ( out of our 1.2 Billion ) that will take leaverage of this ground work and lead us towards 2020 ?

I feel just making some one read and write (thats what we mean by education, right. we did discuss about our educations system in detail earlier) is not going to solve the issue.
We can prosper only when we feel that its my country and I should keep it clean and tidy (not just garbage but everything - out of corruption etc) then only we can prosper. No one will take bribe from their own kith and kin and steal from their own house. Like wise if we start treating our country, then its very much possible even before 2020.
