Hi uliyin osai has a story on why the big temple remains incomplete. the plot is a novelist's delight. athuvum kalaingnar kaivannaththil ketka vendumaa? waiting for it eagerly.
Thats true venkat. But when i saw glimpses of the film, during the audio release function in Kalaignar TV, i was disappointed to see vineeth donning the role of the sculptor. I sincerely feel that he has a feminine touch in him, which would negate the hardness needed of a sculptor. This has made me feel that it would have been better if the novel had remained as 'Sarapallam Saamundi' rather than a commercial venture having all the masala elements in it.
I am sure everyone in our group must have read the review of Pavitra. But there is a strong objection for the review, from one Rajendra Kumar who talks technically about the composition. Worth reading.
First off, Satish, nice of you to post the link here. I'm not too sure of how the movie will turn out - the trailer doesn't seem to hold out much hope. :) I rather suspect the maestro felt some of those vibes.
As to the comments - well. Board comments are nearly always tremendously sarcastic and down-right demeaning . :) I read them all and try to separate the goodf rom the bad, but its not easy. If you say its good they treat you to brickbats, if you don't, its the same. I try to keep my reviews pretty simple, most of the time - it works best for those who are not very technically minded, and like to know it in layman's terms. If I give an exposition on ragas, I'll get ticked off for that as well. :)
I too have noticed that unlike groups like ours, people in rediff articles respond in a very punjent way. almost every alternate entry if you observe is reported for abuse.
i too happened to see the trailor. i guess sarath babu is RRC. vineeth is quite old and most of the choreography seems school drama like.
