I belong to Pandiya Region. Thoothukudi Dt. Very near to Korkai. The pearl harbour or Tamil Nadu.I have read PS more than 5 times since I was 15 years old.but still at the age of 35 I would like to read once again the novel. I am very much interested to know about Vanthiyatheven character, because of his adventures in this novel.
I too felt the same. But couldnt proceed beyond Sivakami Sabatham and Parthiban Kanavu due to time constraints.
When Kamal (editor of varalaaru.com and my colleague in Japan) introduced Ponniyin Selvan to me last year asked me to read only during weekends to avoid distractions at work. But i couldnt do that. Its such a hypnotising writing. After that, i both scolded and praised him a lot for transporting to different magic world.
Also, i heard from Kamal this group was started by one of the editors of varalaaru.com.
