Hi I agree and many people agree the present day madhurai is the third capital of the pandyas and the seat of third sangam...
First sangam....Thenmadhuari....submerged in the sea...in the alleged Lemuria continent south of KK
Second sangam in Kapadapuram..again submerged in the sea
Third Sangam is in present day madhurai
Maybe there was a then,vada,and proper madhurai even then....
I wonder if Kannagi burnt present day madhurai only...because this madhuari was in the same era as Poompuhar.... and Silapaaadhikaram says she travelled east of Madhuari to the hills etc
