We need to book the train tickets in rockfort express, arrange the van at Trichy and book the hotel for one day.
Myself and Poonguzhali have discussed about the cost estimate. It is coming around Rs. 1000.00 per person. After the trip, excess amount will be refunded and balance amount will be collected. Those who are joining at Trichy have to pay Rs. 700.00 (except the train fare).
Those who are in chennai can handover the money either to me or poonguzhali. Others can send cheque (Name : S.Kamalakkannan) to my address given below.
In order to avoid the RAC or waiting list in the train, we have to book the tickets early. So, please make sure to hand over the amount on or before Thursday 29th May 2003.
Those who want to donate to Dr. Kalaikkovan's Rasamanickanaar Historical research centre can add the amount in the same cheque.
Since we are going by train, the boarding points have been changed. Instead of TNagar and Tambaram, you have to select one among Egmore, Mambalam and Tambaram. Please send a mail stating your confirmation, mode of payment and boarding point as soon as possible. Those who are not from Chennai can join us at Trichy railway station.
We will try to invite Mr. Devamani Rafeal also, which will make our trip very interesting and he will give lot of information about the places.
