We are all fans of RRC. You can visit www.bigtemple.com and also leaf through the messages in the yahoogroups to know more about the kinds of discussion featuring RRC taking Kalki's PS novel into perspective.
Am done with book 2 of PS. I must say PS is one hell of a nuisance, once you pick it up it's hard to put it down. I keep yearning for Saturday evenings to take a break from my R&D and sit down with the lovely PS.
I love the way RRC is potrayed. As some of you often point out, RRC has been depicted to be a nice person. However, none of us know if he had any flaws and why those were concealed :)
But I just love the way RRC is potrayed. The soldiers being "enslaved" by his affection and people enjoying his mere presence. It's charming.
In some of Kalki's works (That Buddhist monk in SS and Poonkuzhali in PS) there seems to be one charecter who is a little nutty, laughing at the sky and balls of fire etc. I wonder why these elements were woven in.
