Not sure what the others think...but I'm not sure it is the best. Its the only one out there right now, certainly.(Anybody read Sumeetha's version in www.zine5.com?)
CVK, for example, translates rather literally. In the 3rd paagam, when Aniruddha Brahmmaraayar bullies Vanathi- Kalki addresses Vanathi as "Penne! ...".
