Myself and one of my friendwere having a discussion on this.
He started mentioning a new theory.
Dravidans were native of Lemuria and Aryans were native of the present Asia land mass.Due to movement of landmasses, Lemuria crossed with current Asia on its way of movement. This resulted in Himalayas geographically. And the clash between Aryans and Dravidans, like pallavas between Chera, Chola, Chalukya and Pandyas.

What I have read was that this movement of continents had occured much before evolution of human beings or perhaps "life" itself.
