When you are all busy discussing Buddha, Mahaveera and Inscription reading and of course, the next trip to Thanjai, how about a trip to Ajantha and Ellora - the places Aayana Sirpi dreamt of visiting!
Being in Mumbai, every occasion to make a trip, pulls me southwards. For once let us look north and west and visit these places. It would be educative, informative and also fun to visit these places with members of our group.
In fact, I hear, Khajuraho has a very good audio visual programme ( voice by amitabh bachchan) telling the story of the place and guiding the visitor through the 22 temples which have survived out of the original 88 or so. Each sculpture is a "Kalloviyam". It has to be viewed with an open mind and with the awareness as to the level which our civilisation had reached even 1000 years back!
I can coordinate the whole trip. March, April are Ok - May, June would be impossible and again July, August would be alright - inspite of the rains.
Very Good Idea.I believe Kavingar VAIRAMUTHU or Actor KAMALHASAN voice would give comparable voice match to Mr Amitabh Bachan.
I heard Mr KamalHasan has lot of interest on Ponniyin Selvan,if we approach him through proper channel like Writer Sujatha or Balakumaran,we may even get his concurrence.
